Law of Attraction: God created you, but it’s your responsibility to self develop

You’ll need to extend your hand to touch the light

The subject of our relationship with the Creator has been exhausted by various Philosophers and religious preachers, interpreting it in diverse ways. But for me, my curiosity wasn’t quenched until I experienced the emotions in my own heart.
In fact, my spiritual journey started with finding who was ‘Me’ and what God or Universe or Creator meant. The next segment of this journey was to discover the relationship between ‘Me’ and the ‘Creator of Me’. Creation is like a mother giving birth to a baby, a sculptor carving wood into a sculpture or a  painter painting the canvas, and so on and so forth. The closest analogy that resonated with me was the similarity between a mother and the creator. So, when I meditate I believe I am communicating with my Supreme mother, the Nirankar.  In fact, since the concept of the Supreme being is not gender-based; God is my spiritual parent- both the mother and the father.
Elaborating on the basis of the analogy described above, I shall continue to elucidate this relationship further. Imagine the parent coaching a child to ride a bike, after the initial push and support, the parent releases the child into the freedom of self-responsibility. In the same way, after a soul is reborn in a new body and takes the first independent step on the ground of his life, he walks on his two feet on the path he chooses for himself. Like a parent, the creator does guide and advise, but it’s up to the individual to adhere or not. That’s why it’s said that ‘God helps those who help themselves.’ The more one is receptive to Nirankar’s guidance, the safer our path would be. There’ll always be pebbles and holes on the road, but you could skirt around them without tripping or slipping.
Freedom of choice is our birthright, bestowed upon us by the Almighty Omnipotent. What we make of our life is based on the choices we make. To ensure that we’ve made the right choice, there’s only one supreme choice one could make, and the entire life would fall in place like a jigsaw puzzle – that is, Choose to listen to your conscious which is also the voice of the creator. Start with introspection and find your own self first, proceed to meditation to discover what and who is the supreme entity of your resonation, and then, believe in what you find. It’s an individual’s responsibility to develop own spiritual maturity, without which one is on a hamster’s wheel, running but reaching nowhere. Beyond that, it’ll be like floating on the Great salt lake, as God wouldn’t let you sink.
For more details about techniques to meditate and introspect, and about the concept of a Supreme Being, please refer to many of my other posts covering the subject matter.

Law of attraction: Correlation between Belief and Expectation

I believe in God’s generosity to ‘give’, and I expect to receive this generosity – sound like a familiar thought? Of course, it’s what most of us feel and why such a craze about the Law of Attraction! We believe, we expect and we get…..hang on, not so fast. LOA might work miracles in our lives, but is certainly no magic trick, whatever the media gurus and coaches claim, frankly.
So what does it mean? In my spiritual experience, the expectation is the consequence of belief, and what we manifest is a direct result of our belief plus expectation ‘beyond any doubt’.
Belief is confidence, positivity, and trust- in what is;  Expectation is a calculation, projection, and assurance- of what should be: I believe in myself to desire right, the Universe (God) to give right, and because of my belief I should receive right.
However convincing this theory might be, it’s after all a science- a Law. So, there’s a plan and discipline involved in its execution.  First I need to be absolutely sure about the thought that the power of the Omnipotent is real. ‘Only’ then would I be motivated to invest morally strong karma in order to build my expectations from the Omnipotence of the Almighty. God is generous but am I worthy of receiving the blessings? Expectations take time to take hold in the soil of your faith. The science starts with meditation and meditation starts with introspection. One needs to nurture the trust in God/ Nirankar with righteous thoughts first, which would beget virtuous actions. The definition of virtuous action is subjective. For example, it might mean selfless service towards others only, but for me, it means ‘charity begins at home’, i.e. Me. After all, it’s my belief, my expectation, my life. Others do matter but fall in place once I sort my own mindset. I would also stress the fact that action is the bridge between the belief and the expectation.
Thence, Belief is the primary foundation on which one should build Expectation, gradually. To summarise, I start with a growing belief in God ‘beyond doubt’- this is imperative or the miracle won’t work. Consequently, I would be motivated and influenced to ‘do right’ by myself first and then the community by default since my action/karma would be morally justified.
The third step of evolution would be to build expectation, i.e. confidence in receiving returns, ‘beyond doubt. It’s at this third step that the Law of Attraction is fully charged and desire is ready to manifest.
Those who expect without constructing belief, are building a castle in the air.

LOA: The difference between hope and belief

Let me start with my own example- when I am hopeful, I feel like in the waiting room of dreams, and I can’t wait for my name to be called out to see Dr. Make-believe. I am sure many, many fellow human beings could relate to that, which would help to appreciate this post 😁. Some time ago, I had a mansion, a clean chit of health, family unity, success in writing, etc., etc. on my hopeful list. Familiar? Hope so. These were my wishful thoughts, my bucket list, my immature enthusiasm! Let me add, sadly LOA didn’t move an inch in my favour. Result? Frustration and disappointment. Then, the mind was compelled to chisel such thoughts into shape, take time to sculpture beautiful thoughts; not mass produce ideas in the clouds. I had learnt to ‘think’, which taught me ‘feel’ right too. The mansion became a comfortable home, which I could share with my family harmoniously; I started this blog site to give expression to my thoughts, rather than just jotting down a few thoughts in my private notebook; I joined gym and took responsibility for what goes in my mouth. Once, I put myself in the driving seat of life, I started to believe in the route I was taking to forward my life. I BELIEVED in what I did and I found how much love and happiness was already around me. Enjoying what I already had, made me believe in what I could have in the future. This is when LOA was activated. My desires were grounded ( I have already written substantially about ‘how’ to desire in other posts) and this made my belief stronger in manifestation of what I wished for. It started coming true. Though I don’t live in a mansion, so to speak, but I live in most satisfying congeniality with my lovely family. I might not be a superwoman, but I am very active. I might not be successful as JK Rowling, but I enjoy what I write and share with the beautiful like-minded souls. My belief supported the ‘real’ source of home, dream, love, and health; recognising this reality made my belief stronger in return. It’s a mighty bond. So, as you can see, my hope matured to become my belief and I’ve never let any wish wander astray since.
* I am at the editing stage of my upcoming book, emancipating so many intricate formulae and tricks hiding within each one of us, to exercise LOA successfully ever after. I haven’t finalised the title yet but working on it. I ‘believe’ that I would share it soon with all of you, ‘hopefully’.*

Spills from life: Everything that shines is not Gold, Democracy for example.

The term, Democracy is derived from the Greek word, dēmokratia, where demos mean ‘people’ and Kratos mean ‘rule’. Athenian democracy developed around the fifth century B.C.E. Admittedly, the Greek idea of democracy was different from the present-day understanding of the concept because, in Athens, all adult citizens were required to take an active part in the government; hence ‘Rule by the People’.
However, over the many passing clouds, the literal meaning of the word remained the same, but its socio-political interpretations changed with every new chapter in the history of mankind- World Wars tipped the political powers on the map, Industrial revolution took a bad turn to monopolise the rule of Corporates globally, Consumerism became more than a recreational drug to become an addiction, Colonisation personified Globalisation, The cries of global warming fell on cold consciouses, Pandemic has become a political football where goal-post keeps moving for the data and stats, etc., etc., and mankind is in perpetual quarantine inside the pigeon holes of disparities. Consequently, we feel isolated in our ‘differences’ with others. GMT has engineered a mix of hatred for one another, and we feed on it voluntarily, or so we think.
So, you see, subsequently, the power of the rule was taken from people and claimed by a few in the modern definition of democracy. Hang on, isn’t that close to monocracy? Or absolutism? Of course, this is a satirical democracy – A myth created to amuse masses, while the real rulers suck the oxygen from the atmosphere around them. Wait a minute, is that what pollution does? Of course! The progeny of the Industrial Revolution – the sulphur factories eroding the monument of love, called the Taj Mahal- a symbol of love fading away in human society. A profitable and manipulative scheme by the real rulers of the world.
Democracy has changed the names of the real rulers over the course of history – from Kings/Queens to Colonisers to Slave Masters to the present-day Politicians. Whatever the name, it’s the same DNA. The ingenuity of polity or the establishment has been inventing many schemes to manipulate the masses (who are officially referred to as citizens now, not subjects in democratic rule). The most dexterous plan has been to induce a spectrum of hatred in our vision: colour, class, creed, sexuality, physical appearance, thoughts, are all seen as diverse shades of hatred; and in a few countries, there is another ingenious division that been created – i.e. caste system. All this drama to make democracy seem real and all wrongs be blamed on the common man himself – wow! Villainy, but with such sophistication- just giving the devil his due!
Anyway, rather than write a history of different mutations of democracy, I would like to refer to an incident which took place recently in the capital of the so-called biggest Democracy in the world to prove the debate in this post, showing all the shades of the spectrum of hatred at the ground level of society – Yes, it’s an incident which took place India, where a 20 year old woman was punished by being gang raped, tortured, and then her head shaven and face blackened, then paraded in the streets, because she didn’t entertain the advances of a teenager boy in her locality! The attack was instigated and carried out by the family of the teenage boy, who had committed suicide due to rejection by the young lady. The most shocking bit here is not just the sexual attack and public humiliation, but the fact that the WOMEN ( apparently related to the teenage boy) joined in beatings and cheering the men in their abuse of the helpless woman! It might or might not be relevant to add that the victimised woman belonged to the minority community of Sikhs, and the family was from the majority populace of Hindus. Whether there was or not a religious-based motivation for hatred in this case, one thing is clear- the family and mob involved in this attack proves that the democratic ‘right of expression’, however animalistic it might be, is blessed by the Socio- judicial machinery of modern day democracy! That can be seen in the fact that the Police force remained passive and inactive, till the political necessity during the local election time compelled them to make a few token belated arrests. Humanity was already raped, injured, and paraded naked in the streets of democracy. It makes perplexes me when books still defy reality to describe democracy as ‘rule of the people’ and ‘by the people’!!
This is anarchy and mobocracy, but why do the real rulers, the new world monarchs, the politicians, the slave masters fuel the fire of such lawlessness? Because this is how autonomy for the real rulers can be enforced – People punish each other and gnaw at humaneness. This also keeps them busy and focused in misdirection; leaving all the freedom of so-called democracy for the real rulers of the world.
Enough said, and I would like to finish at a hopeful note…..well, a spark perhaps….ok, a dim but certainly an amber of hope. There are still few homo sapiens left, who believe in justice and protests around the world for the Rights of the masses. The recent farmers’ protest in India which brought the  rigid regime to its knees, certainly a great attempt to resuscitate the dying (original) democracy, the protests around the world to raise the voice that ‘Black life matters’ has been certainly a glimpse of real democracy, every drop of blood that trickled from the veins of the protesters defy the autocratic- imposter -democracy’s truncheons, no knee on the neck could suffocate the whole mankind; because there always be those awakened men and women who would refuse to toe the line leading to the demise of the human race.
Any attack on a vulnerable woman, child, man, or animal is an attack on humanity itself. Human beings are defined by two words put together- ‘man’ + ‘kind’. Without kindness, mankind is incomplete and with an incomplete entity, wholesome democracy can’t be built.
Just to add to the incident mentioned above, a Sikh group from Punjab has gone to Delhi not only to protest against the filthy act but also to raise awareness that silence too is participation in rape. Keep up your efforts people. Know your Rights and obligations, understand the difference between anarchy and freedom, have mutual respect for one another, observe what separates a human being from a beast. There is a great need, which is on the increase rapidly, to support each other to become a better person, through own example. There is no utopia, but if we as decent people unite, the democratic machinery could be persuaded and compelled to act by the people, work for the people, and deliver justice to the masses.
The global mass of people need to collaboratively fight against what we’ve become and support each other to return to the decent core we were supposed to be. It’s a war worth every battle. Claim back the real democracy, a sign of being truly civilised.
Please join me to support every victim of rape, every human being exploited, every child being neglected, and every animal being abused.

LOA: Do you feel at times like hitting a wall in spirituality?

When you travel by road on a long journey, the driver stops the coach from time to time at the designated stations to stretch your legs. Some people would have a snack, some would have a drink, others would need just a toilet or cigarette break. Anyway, this refreshes and energises the travellers for further journey till the coach reaches the destination.
It’s exactly the same with the spiritual journey- one boards the coach, disembark a lot of times, and reboard after refreshing one’s focus. Some spiritual travellers might feel dejected and release frustration by complaining and blaming whoever they can, including their very belief, some might give a few days’ gap to meditation, yet others might take up a new hobby to distract. However, once the pressure is released one way or the other, and passengers have reenergised their belief the positive mindset jumps back on the driving seat for further progression, till the next break at the next station for onward and upwards voyage.
So, if you’re feeling tired, in need to reground yourself or a deep breath of mundane freedom, then it’s ok because such feelings endorse the fact that you are on a journey and definitely on the right coach. ‘Stretching the leg’ is a must to progress. Gradually, the stations become fewer and far between as you wouldn’t need too many breaks. The only difference is that spirituality is all about the journey and not the destination.

Spills from life: The shape of the pyramid inspired the social human degeneration

I don’t waste a lot of time on political news, generally. However, a thought has been nagging me for some time. If we go as far back in the recorded history of mankind, a question might itch your conscious, which will only go away if you scratch it. This question in my mind is- How could only a handful of people rule over the masses? It’s not just in one part, or one country in the world, but it’s a global story of the common man! So, what’s the reason? Could it be because only a few of the human race are clever, and the rest of the masses are intellectually challenged?
Let’s explore this possibility with a few historical examples. The first known Egyptian Pharoah, Menes, gained the title of ‘Lord of the two lands’. Why? Because he united the upper and the lower Egypt as one. I understand that militarily or politically, a visionary who makes a mega impact on the current history will be upheld in reverence and would be bestowed with certain perks and positions by the less prominent people of society. From the rest, only a few might be fortunate to be decorated with individual medals or titles, but most soldiers would be praised collectively as a regiment. But does that mean that a General or a Marshall or an Admiral should become divine?! ( as the pharaohs did)  This is crazy! Now, their mummies are crumbling despite the best efforts to preserve them for eternity.
The World perpetuated this nonsense further, with the help of most of us! Shocking! Monarchies around the world have been the reason for a lot of misery to all living beings, especially to the social fabric of camaraderie. How? Well, by creating a class system at various levels, putting individuals in specific financial groups with further sub-divisions. In case of shortage of food in the country, the peasants couldn’t even find rotten potatoes, but so long the empress was stuffing her face with cakes! Such is our dedication to the nonsense we’ve created- we lay our heads under their feet to be trodden without much effort.
The World perpetuated this nonsense further. With the industrial revolution, as we are taught, we’ve become ‘civilised’, and trade has diversified with the exploration of resources since. Mother earth has been raped and plundered of all her treasures, while we the defeatist children been busy licking own wounds; we are the victims of exploitation by the few but stronger siblings and cousins. Really? Aren’t we more in numbers? Can’t we join hands to match the strength of the foe? Yes, in theory, we could, but it’s too much work. It’s easier to follow than to lead, easier to comply than to protest. So, the choice is simple, when the conscious is stifled.
The World perpetuated this nonsense further. With industrialisation, business and life’s materialistic standards shot up. And so did our avarice for choice. Quantity took over the quality of consumerism. The Kings, the Queens, the so-called Royals- in fact, the entire paedophilic and incestuous cesspool of humanity has been replaced with another form of aristocracy, called Capitalism. The social structure fundamentally remains the same – The shape of the Pyramid.
The poor are not just poor at the same level but are known by different ‘types’ of poverty – Absolute Poverty, Relative Poverty, Situational Poverty, Generational Poverty, Rural Poverty, and Urban Poverty.
Similarly, the rich have types too. A millionaire is looked down upon by the multi- millionaire, who might be considered inferior to a billionaire, but then there is a multi-billionaire who’ll look up to a trillionaire!!! Frankly, my dictionary is now exhausted, but you get the gist.
The world perpetuated even this nonsense further. There are still only a few ‘…naires’ vs rest of human conglomeration, working for them. The singular Noun controls the plural pronouns in society. The most dangerous tool of Capitalist machinery is the Politician. They oil one another’s needs and stand in solidarity against the entire populace. When the ‘masses’ accept this system, it is called Democracy. Do you know what the weapon of mass destruction for the Poor at all levels is? The Law, which is remote for the down-trodden, but powerful enough to enforce order. Even natural disasters like pandemic impact the ‘masses’ more – physically and psychologically. The Capitalist Tool orders the Weapon of mass Destruction to enforce lockdown on the down trodden, while Capitalists, the Dangerous Tools and the Weapons of Mass Destruction have a swooning party (an excerpt from current affairs of UK). This nonsense travels beyond the borders too- if a country wants to stand on it’s own two feet, every such foot is broken by bribing the local Dangerous Tools who would use the Weapon of Mass Destruction to stop a life that strives to live with dignity. It’s not that just the western world is Capitalist enough to dictate the democratic principle in the world, and enforce sanctions in case of non-compliance. The Indian polity is like an encyclopedia of ways to force marry democracy and sanctions in the name of law and order, and unleash the force of engineered democracy on the voting public. The Dangerous Tools and the Weapon of Mass Destruction are so very efficient here. The Corporates are the new Maharajas and the Political gang the Wazir.
The World carries on perpetuating all this nonsense further. You know why? Because, the mass of humanity is short sighted, selfish, cowards, and dependent. We rushed to panic buy even toilet rolls during Covid, even though someone else’s backside might have needed it more! We are obedient followers like the sheep, as to think is too much effort. We all wear the trend set by the few corporates, eat whatever cooks in their factory and think whatever the SEO want us to.
It’s us, the common people who have let this nonsense come this far. But we were not always like this. What happened? We are intoxicated with the pace of fast food, auto-technology, remote controlled life, and mobile phone relationships. We have forgotten the use of our faculties. While we are turning in to robots on self-destruct mode, our Capitalist Masters are planning to subjugate yet another poor planet. God forbids. So who would control us, once the Masters leave? Before panic sets in our system like Rigor mortis, we should know that we would be controlled by our new masters, who from Dangerous Tools would have turned into zombies, due to serving the Capitalist for so long. OR could we reverse the ill-effects of this deadly spell? But how? First of all, we need to go back to the drawing board as human beings. Learn the definition of being human again. Recognise our ‘real’ needs and fulfill them diligently and honestly. Have empathy for others. Put the expectation for too much choice on a tighter leash. Learn to be satisfied. Gather strength to oppose the unjust pressure of capitalism. Resist the temporary joys – dreams are only sleep long; so wake up. Technology is not bad in itself, but the politics around it and our expectations bring the worse out of it. Use your vote carefully by considering the greater good, rather than misplaced loyalties and trust.
Remember, ‘they’ are only a few, and ‘we’ are the massive Masses.

Spills from life: Would a change of number in a year alter events in life?

My husband asked me about my resolution for this year and I hesitated to answer. Do you know why? Because I thought to myself, ‘ resolution is just words unless I’d add action to it’. We all can relate to a question that our parents, uncles, aunties, and almost all adults might have asked when we were children, ‘What do you want to become when you grow up?’ I remember it created so much confusion in my little mind instantly because there were so many buzz words that my parents and teachers had injected into my brain- ‘Doctor’, ‘Engineer’, ‘Pilot’ and ‘Accountant’…I think my memory couldn’t go past these few of the most important occupations in society. But in reality, I became a teacher in school, then a trainer for adults in known Airline, then a Manager in the same company, Semi-professional dancer and Choreographer till university days, Editor of a Youth Magazine, a Blogger, an Author, a Wife, and a Mother …… I became all but what I was told by my adults. I am glad I became all I wanted to be instead of what I was told to. This is also very important for maintaining a positive mindset.
Now before a question scratches someone’s brain to ask me, ‘What if I had failed at everything I could become? Would I then regret why I didn’t try harder to become what Mummy or Daddy or teacher insisted ?’  My answer to that would be, ‘If I failed in what I wanted to be, it would be for two reasons only- either I was barking up the wrong tree or didn’t try hard enough.’ That settled, now I would say that instead of making a New Year Resolution, make a lifetime resolution of doing what you could and then invest all your energy and effort into achieving your own best self. This might not be suitable to others’ expectations of you but your mirror would show you dignity and self-pride each and every time you look at yourself. Show the World what ‘you’ could do! If they don’t like it, they could foxtrot oscar! This is real confidence ( not over-confidence, which is like thinking of walking on water….and we all know what would happen if we attempted that!!!!)
We all very well know about yo-yo dieting experiences, especially between post- Christmas and post-summer vacation times, or pledging by swearing at every near and dear one’s life not to drink another drop after the head-spinning hangover. Hand on heart- How many succeed in keeping their promise to themselves? So, instead of short-term impulsive goals, try to choose long-term achievable targets. Focus and go for it like a rottweiler after the bone.
So far we discussed being true to yourself, knowing your own potential, working diligently, focusing, building confidence, develop a positive mindset. Voila! We’ve grown the ability to manifest all our dreams. This is my Resolution for every year of my remaining life. Be MY best and settle for nothing less. What about you? Happy 2022 to all my fellow bloggers and readers.
