Pledge To 2026: In Sikhi spirit

First of all, a very peaceful, exciting, prosperous, and fulfilling New Year – 2026- to all the lovely readers!
We could call it resolution, determination, will-power, or whichever word from the dictionary catches your attention, so long as the promise to yourself is to keep and work towards.
I pledge to myself that I will continue to nurture self-growth. So, here’s my list, and it’ll be exciting to share it with all:
** Be more charitable, but be less exploitable. There is no welfare in feeding the greed.
** Be nice, but also be aware. Gullibility is not a virtue.
** Be cautious, but equally venturous. Stagnation is death, not precaution.
** Be daring, but not reckless. Bravery is not impulsiveness.
** Be curious for knowledge, and share what I learn. It keeps ego in check.
** Be respectful, but expect reciprocation, unhesitatingly. Giving more recognition to others by ignoring oneself is low self-esteem, not humility.
** Be truthful, but not hurtful. Righteousness is in purpose, not just in the act.
** Be calm, but not by fear. Self-control nurtures resolute character, which begets reformation.

To a better and reformed 2026! May Nirankar Almighty bless all humanity, and may common sense prevail amongst us, the commonmen and women, to fight together for peace, so it finds permanent solace on planet earth. Amen.
