God of Wrath or Reward- Get what you attract

I’ll start the post with an apology to my readers- I have not been writing as regularly as I have been in the past or would like to, only because I’ve lately been working on my next book to be published shortly; I look forward to sharing with fellow bloggers and subscribers a few details in the subsequent blogs. However, in the meantime, I endeavor to give a glimpse of the broad idea behind the subject matter of my book; even though not an exact extract. I am still finalising the title, but soon to be.

The whole life revolves around the law of attraction, which also goes by the name of ‘Power of choice’. We get what we choose in life- with a thought or physical action, or both. Hence, why mankind is so diversified in ideas about…well, everything in life.
With this in mind, I noticed that people have a rainbow of opinions about even what God is like- and those who do not believe in an entity of God still have many shades of thoughts about life, nature, the universe, or even themselves.
I would go only as far back as the most popular mythologies, where polytheism and hierarchy of power were believed in –  For example amongst the mightiest twelve Greek Olympians, Zeus was the king of Gods, and Hindu mythology revolves around the trinity of Brahma (The creator), Vishnu (The preserver), and Mahesh (The destroyer). These gods not only had different powers but also different temperaments too. Anger and love balanced their might on one principle- ‘you do good to earn a god’s love, or do bad to deserve his wrath’. In all these mythologies, the power of god comes in all emotions, genders, and images.
I analysed this belief in the light of my understanding of the Law of attraction and human psychology, and to me, it all started to make complete sense – after all, mankind invented religion, with their best thinking hats on (or so we would like to think).
So, if we get what we attract, it also implies that we choose to feel guilty in the name of morality and attract the wrath of an angry god as a befitting justice. Equally, we choose to be self-righteous and deem qualified for reward by a benevolent god.
Because a human mind has an inclination towards negativity, one accepts the ‘punishment’ by the gods, with however many tears and sighs. It’s the extreme form of catharsis – in some ways, we become victims in our own eyes, which is the ultimate state of tragedy. It’s negative but is highly addictive in its potency. Fear, low self-esteem, defeatist attitude, all emerge out of such low vibrations. Many people keep walking this guilty path for an entire life- still lighting a candle, still bowing to the same punishing angry god, and still attracting the same chastisement.
But even bigger problem begins when one doesn’t get what one thinks one deserves, throwing a tantrum, making a believer question his belief or even deserting his god. It is actually all a manifestation of a frustrated mind in denial.
There must be a solution if there is a problem. Of course, there is – or maybe my optimistic mind has made a choice to find a way. Good for me! So, if I were frustrated because my god of choice didn’t behave the way I expected, then I would go back to the drawing board. I would introspect and analyse questions like, why I thought my actions were good or bad? Was it a fair judgement? Where did I go wrong – My mistaken choice of actions? My unrealistic expectations? OR My choice of GOD?
In fact, the key is to find the answers that arise straight from your conscience- not ‘conscious’ influence. I’d begin by analysing my very desire- is it grounded, or is it just an impulsive wish? How would it evolve my life (not boosting of ego)? One must search for the right answers, but to be realistic and impartial might be challenging;  nothing that one couldn’t overcome.
Once I would know that my desire was a reasonable request, I would analyse the choice of failed actions and find an alternative. Being objective is highly advisable in such a situation. I would be confident that refining the choice would fetch better results, satisfying my need at that particular time.
Once it’s settled what to desire, and how to proceed to manifest it, the only outstanding question now left is, about the choice of god, who denied me my rewards previously. Establishing the rightful desire and corresponding actions would prove that the folly wasn’t with the choice of god, but in expecting fulfillment when my desire itself was unfulfilling.
It’s different from feeling defeatist, as in the first scenario, where one has given up. This is more about waking up to reality, connecting with your own self, eradicating toxin thoughts, and growing a positive mindset, which shall attract the benevolence of a god or universe or whatever positive power one believes in. After all, belief is just a state of mind. God is one, and the different images of him/her are impressions of our own mindset. Attract right to manifest rightly.
