Let’s just get the basic questions with very simple answers out of the way first-
●What or who is God? God is the power that can listen to your prayer and grant your wish or dissuade you from it to protect you. God is also every image that resonates with you ‘emotionally’.
●Why does one even pray? It is to manifest what one’s heart desires. In other words, it’s the means to get where we wish to but don’t know how to.
●Is every desire manifestable? Yes, if one puts sincere moral work (Karma) into it.
●Is every desire worth manifesting? No, only that desire which is morally grounded is blessed by God.
●Is DDP (Discipline, Description, Prescription) the best way to pray? Only if all or one element of this formula grounds your mindset categorically.
●Is there an alternative method to pray? Absolutely – Free style direct chat with God in your preferred language.
●How is it even possible to talk to God that one can’t see or hear? Please read below.
From my personal experience, I can say that I’ve gone through a diverse range of worshipping, from performing rituals (Discipline of described actions without understanding) to prescription praying (Prescribed written prayers and hymns without understanding). The result had been the same- ‘hit and miss’. However, whenever I went freestyle plain talking with Nirankar (Intangible Power), I hit the jackpot every single time, provided my mind was grounded and my thoughts were moral. It’s easier said than done and needs practice, I must add. Begin with regular introspection without biased filters.
Now, I would define what I mean by ‘plain talking’ with an entity which has no physical shape, gender, or colour. The realism of tangibility is superseded by the palpitating ‘feeling’ of Nirankar’s presence, for me. Without feeling it, it’s all just ritualistic formality with wishful results.
Lighting a candle does not enlighten you, but emotional receptivity towards the glow of light and deciphering its symbolism is real worship.
Once you have recognised the presence of transpicuousness, you can see clearly the view on the other side of the lucid glass. Being aware of such presence as if physically around you is absolutely mandatory to start a chat with Almighty. This is not eerie at all; it’s rather a soothing feeling aroused by your favourite scent like roses, or the relaxing sound like white noise. Close your eyes and meditate- with or without any mantra or hymn. Either way, your first aim would be to connect with your own self. We all think we know the ‘I’, the ‘Me’ inside, but most of us don’t. I found out the hard way and discovered that I also had a deeper side within. It surprised me that I had been only an acquaintance with my inner self before. The more I meditated, the stronger the bond with myself grew. This stage of bonding was the rendezvous point for meeting with ‘my’ God.
In my experience, this is the grounded state of meditation where one could feel the existence of the Omnipresent. This is the portal to manifest. So, God is what you visualise through deep feelings, and not necessarily a physical image that mortal eyes could see. Talk to ‘this’ God in the language of raw emotions and tell him (or her) exactly how you feel. No sugar coating or formal nicey, nicey flattery, or defensive righteousness; just how you genuinely feel. Equally, if it works to visualise your personal God in a form that resonates with your own bonded entity, then talk to your God in the image of an old man or a motherly figure, or whatever, provided it evokes real emotions consistently. Emotional emancipation is the freedom of spirit. This state is essential to connect with the higher spirit we also call Almighty God. In the spiritual sense, this is the beginning and a strong start.
Regular grounding of the mind is necessary. It works for me; so I share. I am still learning.

Such wonderful perspectives. I love how you explained how GOD is according to your perspective, which I fully resonate. I think it’s our thoughts and consciousness. When raised higher, that’s when we closely get to God.

I absolutely love the term “transpicuousness”! English suffers from a poverty of spiritual language. Thanks for contributing positively to our vocabulary. ❤️
